Before arrival
Submit SG Arrival Card & Declarations
Submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) online before you travel. All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card within three days (including the day of arrival) before arriving in Singapore.

Upon arrival
Clear Immigration
Proceed to the automated lanes and follow the instructions to clear immigration. Have your passport ready and ensure your SGAC submission is complete.
Payment Methods
Tap-and-go payments are widely accepted (credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay), plus contactless options at most shops and transit gates.
Tax Refund (GST)
Tourists may claim a refund on the 9% GST for eligible purchases over the minimum spend at participating retailers.
Tipping
Tipping isn’t customary in Singapore. A 10% service charge is commonly included at hotels and restaurants.
Ways to Pay
Pay for MRT and buses with contactless bank cards, mobile wallets, or stored-value cards — no separate transit card required.
